I have finally realized what is going on with this economy. It is being sabotaged! Think about it: We spend unprecedented billions of dollars to "jump start" the economy to "jolt" it back to where it should be... and here it sits, worse off if anything than before. Now the same genius's that called for the first round of "stimulus" are saying that it was not actually meant to be a stimulus, it was merely a stabilization and we are going to need a few more hundred billion to do the trick. How much is enough? Do these people have a clue?
My theory: They know exactly what they are doing! Can anyone be this stupid without a purpose? They are trying to wreck the economy! Why? So they can take the credit for "making it better again".
Let me elaborate: In case you are not familiar with Munchhausen's Syndrome, it is a disorder that manifests itself most often in parents who purposefully make their children sick in order to get affection by caring for the child. See Wikipedia definition here. You may be familiar with the disorder from movies written about it.
So doesn't it make sense now? First, they tried for years to make the Iraq War political and unpopular in order to turn public opinion against it. Then they ran a Presidential Candidate that promised to end the war, hoping to be able to claim credit for fixing "the problem". Now Obama has been in office for nearly 6 months and has yet to bring the troops home. So this backfired on them and they need a new strategy. Hey, why not take advantage of hard times that started when President Bush was in office, make it even worse! Then when we stop meddling with things for long enough let the economy recover on its own, we can claim the credit!! Genius!
Only one problem: We are onto you!
Secret Agenda: Make the economy worse, so that you can get the credit for making it better...

And then there is the theory that Obama follows the teachings of Saul Alinsky, who believed that to bring socialism to America the left wing nuts needed to load the welfare rolls as high as possible, as well as spend the US into oblivion in order to bring about the fall of America, socialism or worse rising in its place.
