Modern Day Paul Revere's

Since America was founded on a Resistance, it is no surprise that common citizens are beginning to stand up and resist the massive expansion of Government Power and Control. You may have seen it or heard it on the news lately. The most recent examples of this uprising, is the opposition offered at the Town Hall meetings of Senators and Congressman.

This opposition is mainly focused on the Health Care "Reform" Bill, but others are protesting other recent Gov't activity, such as the bailout bill, Cash for Clunkers, Cap and Trade, etc.

The mainstream media is referring to these everyday common citizens as "mobsters", "the mob", "hired insurance company thugs", and on and on. Meanwhile, the actual Mob comprised of ACORN members, Union members, and other community organizations that were dispatched my Obama to counter-protest these citizens, are sympathized with.

This article is not meant to focus on Town Hall Meetings, however. I would like to talk about the new movement of Paul Revere's that has been sweeping the Nation. This is a true grassroots uprising, meaning that there are no huge organizations behind it, no ad campaigns, and no national leader. It is small community groups coordinating and pooling their efforts in an attempt to make their voices heard.

During these peaceful demonstrations and protests, there was absolutely no destruction of property, no violence, no arrests, and not even any trash left behind! Yet the media and even the politicians, who should be most interested in hearing these voices, are trying to play it down and are falsely claiming that it is a "Astroturf" movement that is secretly funded by Insurance companies and Health Care providers. (last time I checked, ACORN and Unions are funded by your tax dollars) Individual citizens with hand-made signs do not have this luxury.

So my whole point is: You are not alone! There are hundreds or thousands of citizens from every walk of life that have had enough! They know that this government has had a free reign for way too long and are beginning to bite off more than they can chew. We will resist them, we will stand up for what is right, and we will DEFEAT BIG BROTHER!!
